Plan remote producer oversight
Agree the producer’s involvement before the shoot: briefing, question review, check-ins and a suitable remote supervision arrangement. Connectivity and the location’s restrictions determine what can be supported; a continuous live feed is not assumed or promised without confirmation.
Make footage handover explicit
Before filming, confirm resolution, frame rate, camera profile, audio tracks, file naming and delivery method. Rushes, synced files, transcripts, project files and finished edits are different deliverables. Storage duration and transfer deadlines must also be agreed.
